Reconstitution reference
Lyophilized compounds are supplied as a dry powder and are reconstituted with bacteriostatic water. This page covers the mechanics of reconstitution and the resulting concentrations.

Steps

Use a 1 ml syringe.

Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening.

Draw the required volume of bacteriostatic water.
- 4
Inject the water slowly down the inside wall of the vial. Do not spray it directly onto the powder.

Swirl gently in circles until fully dissolved. Do not shake.

Store the reconstituted vial refrigerated and protected from light.

Concentration is stated per millilitre. Converting to syringe gradations depends on the syringe — check your syringe's markings rather than assuming.
