Reconstitution reference
Lyophilized compounds are supplied as a dry powder and are reconstituted with bacteriostatic water before use. This page covers the mechanics of reconstitution and the resulting concentrations.

Steps

Use a 1 ml syringe.

Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening.

Draw the required volume of bacteriostatic water.
- 4
Inject the water slowly down the inside wall of the vial. Do not spray it directly onto the powder.

Swirl gently in circles until fully dissolved. Do not shake.
- 6
Store the reconstituted vial refrigerated and protected from light.

Concentration is stated per millilitre. Converting to syringe gradations depends on the syringe you are using — check your syringe's markings rather than assuming.
